With my previous works, I'd often ink the sketch with the correct lineweights and paint around them, but this time, outlines
are worked in photoshop using a hard brush. Two Photoshop 7 brushes are also made up for this image, one for rendering
out the grass areas and one for blocking out and blending the forms and lighting on the stones.
The lighting on the cross is given the strongest values to catch the eye first and also to give it the glossiness of strong iron.
